Our client, a modern and well equipped plastic packaging converter is seeking to employ an Internal Sales Person to join their Team.
Education and Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent
Syspro, Sage or Pastel (preferred)
Degree/Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Experience in the plastic/FMCG industry (preferred)
At least 2 years’ experience in a Sales Representative / Key Accounts Manager role (preferred)
Experience in a Plastic Processing environment (preferred)
Responsibilities
Communicating with customers and providing assistance to sales representatives.
Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
Answering potential customers' questions and queries.
Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
Closing the sales effectively.
Plan accordingly in order to reach deadlines.
Reports and general administration.
Account Management.
Internal and external relations including but not limited to Sales and account support;
Developing operational implementation plans aligned to strategic objectives
Analysis of inventory to implement and maintain customer monthly requirements
Effective and efficient information reporting to enable strategic decision-making
Liaise with customer and manufacturing staff on queries, defects and quality
Competencies
Must have strong oral and written communication skills and effectively present information to others in English
Strong commercial drive, with an analytical mindset and good interpersonal skills
Strong project management skills, highly organised and capable of effective multi tasking and time management
Flexibility to work effectively in a changing environment
Ability to adapt to changes in work environment, work assignments and/or changes in priorities
Ability to work independently
Microsoft efficiency (primarily Word, Outlook & Excel)
