 PROGRAMME MANAGER: TECHNICAL 

JOB LEVEL: DL 

REGION: EASTERN CAPE 

LOCATION: EAST LONDON 

DURATION: 5 YEAR CONTRACT 

PORTFOLIO: PMSU 

PURPOSE: To facilitate, monitor and evaluate development programmes according to time, scope and cost parameters and manage multi-sectoral programmes from design to implementation.

REPORTING : REGIONAL GENERAL MANAGER 

 

REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor’s Degree Civil Engineering or Built Environment e.g. B. Sc (QS) or B. Sc (Construction Manager) or B. Arch or equivalent ;A Postgraduate degree in the build environment will serve as an added advantage; Formal training in Project Management is a must; Must be Professionally Registered; An unendorsed Code EB (Code 8) driver’s license or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years’ Project / Programme management in the Build environment including 3 years in a management role; Extensive knowledge in monitoring and evaluation; Conceptual Ability; Planning Skills; Project Technical Expertise.

DUTIES : Establish community upliftment needs and opportunities; Manage regional programmes initiation and set-up; Manage regional programmes planning; Manage delivery programmes implementation; Oversee delivery programmes administration and management; Oversee programme expenditure; Manage programme relationships and best-practice; Oversee and manage programme monitoring and evaluations; Oversee and manage programme completion and handover; Manage programme information and learnings and Manage employee performance and productivity.
