Job Description:

Brights Hardware seeks three General Assistants for its Drive Thru Yard Department. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring efficient yard operations, including accurate loading of customer purchases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load customer vehicles, delivery trucks, and transfer trucks promptly and accurately.

• Ensure proper stock stacking and counting.

• Assist with stock transfers.

• Report stock shortages and breakages.

• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.

• Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge.

• Bag stone/sand.

• Participate in stocktakes.

• Perform other assigned work-related tasks.

Requirements:

• Matric or equivalent.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Ability to accurately count stock.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Discipline and motivation.

• Ability to handle pressure.

• Effective verbal communication.

• Physical fitness and stamina.
