Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking experienced and vigilant Security Guards to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our security team, you will play a vital role in protecting our employees, customers, and assets.

What You'll Do:

• Protect and Secure: Conduct patrols, monitor access points, and investigate suspicious activities.

• Prevent Crime: Deter criminal activity through your presence and proactive measures.

• Maintain Order: Respond to incidents, assist in emergencies, and ensure a safe and secure environment.

• Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous service to all customers and employees.

• Administrative Duties: Maintain records, complete reports, and adhere to all security protocols.

What You'll Need:

• Essential:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or Senior Certificate

  • Grade C accreditation with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the retail security sector (e.g., shopping malls, warehouses)

• Advantageous:

  • 1 year of specific experience in a similar role
