To be considered for this vital role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Qualifications:

  • Three (3) years relevant tertiary qualification at NQF6 in Human Resources Management, Human Resource Development, Training & Development, Management of Training, Public Management, or Public Administration.

Experience:

  • One (1) year functional experience specifically in Performance Management.

Knowledge:

  • Departmental Policies and Procedures

  • Public Finance Management Act

  • Performance Management and Development Policies and Directives

  • Public Service Act

  • Public Service Regulations

  • Batho Pele Principles

Skills:

📌 Key Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of critical functions, including:

  • Facilitating performance agreements and assessments across the Department.

  • Verifying and quality checking submitted performance agreements and assessment reports on the Electronic Performance Management system, providing reports to the supervisor.

  • Providing comprehensive secretariat and logistical support for PMDS (Performance Management and Development System) Committee meetings.

  • Procuring goods and services for the Sub-Directorate Performance Management & Committee Services.

  • Managing the administration of performance management on the online system.
