We’re looking for…
A talented junior Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer to join our client’s team in developing and maintaining hardware, firmware, drivers and applications for Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices.
What’s the role?
You will be responsible for:
- Mixed signal electronic system design
- Hardware design including Multilayer PCB, RF & differential bus design
- Developing reliable and efficient applications for a wide variety of hardware platforms with a focus on reliable, extensible and clean code
- Working in a small team with the ability to learn from others and handle tasks independently
- Debugging software and hardware faults
- Developing and documenting testing procedures and strategies
- Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
- Write technical documentation

- Matric
- Diploma/Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or relevant field experience – non-degreed candidates to be considered with exceptional experience/talent
- 1+ years industry experience
- The following experience is advantageous:
- Embedded applications in a bare metal environment
- RTOS environments
- Linux and embedded Linux design
