  We offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual in the automotive aftermarket. We require a diligent and reliable Stores Person at our Phoenix branch at 7 Marhouse Place, Phoenix, KZN. You must be attentive and accurate when working with stock. You must be able to do physically demanding work, such as lifting and carrying heavy stock items while spending long hours standing or walking. You will be required to work Monday to Friday and alternating Saturdays.

  Duties include:

  • Offloading stock from vans, trucks, and containers

  • Checking goods received

  • Moving bulk inventory and packing stock away

  • Picking of stock

  • Checking picked and packed stock

  • Packing freight parcels

  • General housekeeping of the warehouse (Cleaning and Tidying)

  • Doing periodical stock counts

  • Security of warehouse and stock

  • Ad Hoc Duties as required

Candidate Requirements

Requirements:

• Work overtime on most days as required by the manager

• At least two years of experience in a medium to large warehouse

• Experience working with freight (parcels) and courier companies

• Computer Literacy

• A valid forklift license (advantageous)

• Health and Safety, First Aid and Firefighting Certifications (advantageous)

• Automotive spares knowledge (beneficial)
