Ernst & Young (EY) is calling all Matric and University students to apply for the 2026 CA Stream Bursary Programme in South Africa.
💼 About the EY Bursary Programme
EY is committed to growing and transforming the Chartered Accountancy profession in South Africa. This bursary programme supports talented, driven individuals who demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership potential, and a genuine commitment to qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)).
The bursary covers various study costs and provides students with mentorship, professional exposure, and a guaranteed training contract at EY upon graduation.
🎓 Types of EY Bursaries Available
1.Academic Merit with Financial Need Bursary
- Covers one or more (or a combination of):
- Tuition fees
- Accommodation
- Books and/or meals
- Covers a portion of tuition fees for high-performing students who do not require full financial assistance.
In return, successful applicants will work at EY for the duration of their training contract (minimum of three years).
🧭 Who Can Apply?
Applications are open to both Matric learners and University students pursuing studies in Accounting, Finance, or Chartered Accountancy-related programmes at SAICA-accredited institutions.

- Certified Matric certificate & Grade 11 results
- Certified Grade 11 full report and Grade 12 Term 1 & 2 results
- Parent/guardian payslip or affidavit as proof of unemployment
