Job Description
Creditors Clerk job, Gauteng
Responsibilities:
Processing supplier invoices onto Pastel
Reconcile 7 day and 30 day accounts and submit for payment
Maintain supplier credit agreements
Process monthly overhead invoices into pastel and submit for payment
Process payments into pastel cashbook
Filing of invoices
Submitting purchase orders to suppliers
Ensure goods received and invoice balance
Requirements
Proven experience as a creditors clerk
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with an aptitude for numbers
Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and Pastel accounting software
Proficiency in English
MS Office
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
Diligent and logical
Build good relationships with suppliers
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
