The Key Accounts Controller is responsible for the planning and implementation of the changeover process to Easy Accounts for new clients, as well as skills transfer for new and existing clients and query resolution.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities (non-exhaustive):
- Developing and maintaining solid relationship with clients and their employees
- Implementation and maintenance of client, store and user infromation
- Training of clients (on-site and/or virtual)
- Training of internal teams (on-site and/or virtual)
- Addressing and resolving client queries
- Investigate, determine and resolve source of query (user/system)
- Gap analysis on client's processes
- Writing and enhancing of user manuals
Required Skills
- bookkeeping : 2 to 3 years
- online accounting : 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Qualifcations:
- Previous bookkeeping or online accounting experience in FMCG industry will be advantageous
- The incumbent must have completed Matric and a related financial educational qualification
- Knowledge of bookkeeping practices and accounting principles recommended
- Previous technical accounting package experience would be advantageous
- Two years’ related experience preferred but graduates will also be considered.
Required skills and abilities:
- Must have an excellent command of English and Afrikaans as written and spoken language.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with different role players
- Knowledge of accounting and financial, as well as systems administration
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and identifying irregularities
- Ability to meet set turn- around times and targets
- Understanding of retail industry
- Computer literacy
- Ability to teach and explain complex financial information in a clear manner
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment

Working Conditions:
The incumbent will be based at home and on- site with clients and will be faced with constant interruptions .The incumbent will be expected to deal with a wide variety of personalities while transferring skills. The incumbent will be working in a highly pressurized environment, under a target driven structure. There is a component of after- hours and weekend client service required .The incumbent will be expected to travel across the country and into African countries from time to time, this may require staying over while conducting training for new clients. A valid South African driver ’s license and access to reliable transport is essential. Holding a current passport would be advantageous.
