Our Client in the Retail industry is looking or a Graphic Designer with a minimum of +5 years experience, who is creative and wants to join the expanding in-house deign and marketing team.

The individual would be directly involved in the development and execution of marketing and branding across various channels. Candidate should have a track record of contributing to outstanding, multichannel advertising or marketing campaigns that not only look great but perform effciently as well. Duties and responsibilites will include but not be limited to:  

  • Executing tactical marketing initiatives across various channels - TV, web, social, e-mail, in-store, etc.

  • Contribute to brainstorming meetings and the development of new ideas.

  • Design visually compelling direct-response campaigns and creative projects to implement across all channels to retain and attract new customer.

  • Prepare digital product pitch presentations.

  • Ability to conceptualize and deliver creative content including written, photo, and video assets to align with the Brand's voice.

  • Create visually appealing video campaigns on social media and e-mail campaigns, as well as analysing their impact.

  • Conduct data research to grow and maintain customer database.

  • Editing and proofreading marketing content.

  • Assist with copywriting and editing a variety of content across mediums that include: sell sheets, blogs, social media, presentations, product packaging, and user manuals.

  • Collaborate with Management Team, as well as Brand Manager and Web Developer to execute and implement new ideas.

  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.

  • Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.

  • Study design briefs and determine requirements.

  • Schedule projects and define budget constraints.

  • Upskill to keep up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies.

  • Create visualizations that convey accurate messaging for the project.


Candidate Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, and graphic design is required.

  • The ability to clearly communicate the reasoning behind design choices.

  • Use various creative software programs to develop their designs.

  • Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.

  • A strong eye for visual composition.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to give and receive constructive criticism.

  • Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.

  • Experience with computer-aided design.

  • Proficiency is expected in programs like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and all Social Media Platforms.

  • Prior experience working on a wide range of marketing functions including branding, communications, advertising, email marketing, digital marketing, website, content creation is required.
