Our client operating in a well-renowned FMCG organisation focusing on distribution and manufacturing is seeking a credit controller to join their financial division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day functions of the accounting practices. If you fit the description, please apply!

Qualifications

• BCom Finance Qualification

• 5 years Accounts Receivable experience within an FMCG environment working with intercoms

• Proficient knowledge of SAP

• Advanced Excel skills

• Great understanding of the credit act, in terms of credit applications understanding of incoterms

• Good understanding of the legal complexities of payment plans and interest rates

 Job description & Skills

• Creating procedures and policies that ensure timely payments while maintaining a high level of customer retention

• Reconciling complex accounts that have been escalated from the Accounts Receivable team

• Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors’ books

• Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within your team

• Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel sales team

• Participation of Ad hoc duties the credit control department needs
