ADSA Bursary 2024

ADSA is awarding bursaries to students for the upcoming academic year to pursue an undergraduate degree in dietetics studies. The bursary aims to provide benefits for students coming from disadvantaged individuals who would not be able to pursue education in the dietetics field otherwise.

The bursary will provide R30, 000 every year, partially covering expenses of accommodation, registration fees, textbooks, and other related expenses. Also, it will cover the fees for the remaining years of the degree course i.e., from the 2nd to the 4th year. The amount will be directly paid into the university account after the bursary panel receives a statement containing the name and ID number of the student.

Shortlisted candidates will receive ADSA student membership during their study duration. After completing their studies, the students have to work in South Africa at least for the duration of the bursary received. This time excludes community service periods.
