Key Responsibilities
Greet visitors warmly and notify staff promptly.
Answer and direct calls professionally, taking accurate messages when necessary.
Manage meeting room bookings, ensuring cleanliness and setup before meetings.
Maintain an organized reception area, oversee courier deliveries, and update internal directories.
Provide clerical support to the Facilities department to ensure smooth office operations.
What You Need to Succeed
Experience & Skills:
- 3+ years’ experience as a Receptionist (preferably in financial services or corporate environments).
- 2+ years’ experience handling a switchboard.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
- Secretarial Certificate/Diploma required; tertiary qualification advantageous.
