Are you a Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) graduate looking to launch your career in a dynamic, hands-on environment? Join Adcorp Shared Services as a SHEQ Graduate and gain essential industry experience managing legal compliance, safety coordination, and on-site implementation across multiple business units.
You’ll play a key role in driving health and safety awareness, ensuring legislative compliance, and supporting system improvements to foster a safer, more compliant workplace.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
🧭 Health and Safety Management
🔗 Coordinate regional H&S service providers and site rules
📢 Inform H&S reps of rule changes and implementation requirements
📝 Ensure H&S meetings are held, documented, and controlled
📊 Consolidate KPI outcomes from meetings
🚧 Enforce contractor compliance across all regions
⚠️ Investigate incidents and report findings monthly
🗂️ Maintain document/data control systems
📚 Promote H&S awareness and develop internal campaigns
✅ Conduct risk assessments and issue non-conformance reports
🧾 Assist in compiling and updating SHE files
📉 Track and implement incident reduction initiatives
🏥 Ensure Section 24 reportable incidents are filed timeously
🧑🏫 Coordinate H&S training programs and toolbox talks
💬 Develop and upload awareness content on internal systems
💻 Support system users with license tracking and content uploads
🩺 Administer and report COID cases across all divisions
📞 Follow up on missing documentation via phone and email
🤝 Liaise with third-party service providers for COID management
🛠️ On-Site Implementation & Compliance
📋 Conduct audits, inspections, and compliance checks
📂 Maintain site safety files and training registers
⚠️ Investigate workplace accidents and support management
🔄 Update the H&S Management System as legislation evolves
🏗️ Align all H&S activities with company values and client standards
📈 Compile reports: client H&S management, incidents, DoL, training, and Section 24/25
✅ Minimum Experience & Requirements
🎓 SHEQ Graduate or 1+ year in H&S field
📊 Strong reporting skills and investigative mindset
🔍 Knowledge of COID submissions, risk assessments, audits
🚗 Valid driver’s license & own vehicle essential
🏫 Qualifications
📜 Matric (Grade 12)
🎓 National Diploma in Safety Management (Essential)
➕ SAMTRAC Certification (Advantageous)
