About the Role

E&D Recruiters is seeking a Junior Energy Data Analyst to join their team in Cape Town. This role is ideal for graduates with a BEng or BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, or Statistics, who have at least 1 year of relevant data analysis experience.

You’ll play a key role in Active Energy and Utilities Management programs, providing valuable insights through data analysis and BI visualisation. If you’re passionate about data-driven decision-making and want to grow your career in energy management, this role is for you.

Minimum Requirements

• BEng or BSc (Mechanical, Electrical, or Statistics).

• At least 1 year of experience in data analysis.

• Strong passion for data analysis and BI visualisation.

• Proficiency in MS Excel.

• Interest and skill in designing aesthetic BI visualisations.

• Experience with large datasets (cleaning, aggregation, reporting) – beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Energy Utilities Program reporting and analysis for clients.

• Assist with development and maintenance of the software platform.

• Provide clear communication and feedback to clients.
