REQUIREMENTS : Matriculation certificate or an equivalent recognized and pertinent tertiary degree (REQV13) in computer science, information technology, or information security, or an equivalent degree recognized by the industry, such as the MCSE/CCITP, A+, N+ security +, and ITL 3 to 5 years of functional job experience at the management level on a salary of level 7 or 8 in an IT setting LAN, WAN, and IP Telephony technologies; enterprise storage administration; enterprise server administration; virtualization administration; backup-to-disk systems and related software; and at least three years of the required work experience should be in Microsoft systems administration, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Ms Exchange. valid driving privileges conversant with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and computer literate. good presenting, report-writing, and verbal and written communication abilities Possessing effective interpersonal, management, and team-leading abilities Excellent organizational, financial, presentation, report-writing, analytical, client-focused, and project management skills. Independent working ability Integrity, dedication, commitment, proactivity, and loyalty to the client the capacity to always retain a high level of confidentiality.
DUTIES : Create ICT policies and procedures, put them into practice, maintain them, and communicate them proactively to ensure that IT systems are used effectively and efficiently throughout the college. Manage and keep an eye on electronic access and IT security Create solutions that protect hardware and data Make system backups Provide staff and students with LAN and WAN access in accordance with college policies and requirements. According to the standards set by the college, do research and create specifications for LAN and WAN technologies. Establish, oversee, and maintain WAN, LAN, email, and internet connectivity to all college campuses and sites. identifying, addressing, and recording any ICT-related problems Investigate and create plans for the software and hardware needed for the systems and technologies that will support the college's primary operations, programs, and services. provide guidance on college hardware and software purchases in accordance with the requirements of the college Deliver software and equipment for staff and students to utilize in accordance with college policies and requirements. upkeep, reporting on redundant hardware and software, and advise on updating the hardware and software system. Control any software licensing for the college's use and make sure that it is appropriate and valid. assist in the acquisition of intranet and internet goods and services in accordance with the requirements of the college Make sure the college has access to the intranet and the internet. Make ensuring that information is consistently updated and pertinent on the college website. control the ICT team Take over management of the IT department. Verify that the DPSA's information technology strategy is being followed. in charge of business architect Create an information technology business strategy.
