Our client, a well-established agricultural trading company operating across Southern Africa, seeks a proactive and detail-driven Administrative Coordinator. You’ll play a pivotal role in managing import administration, logistics coordination, invoice processing, and regulatory compliance.
✅ Minimum Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
2–4 years’ experience in import administration, logistics, or supply chain
Strong knowledge of South African import and customs clearance procedures
Experience with accounts payable/receivable and basic accounting
Proficiency in Excel and general computer literacy
📋 Key Responsibilities
📦 Import & Logistics Administration
Coordinate supplier contracts (foreign & local)
Liaise with import agents for documentation and clearance
Track shipments and address logistical delays
Maintain accurate and up-to-date import records
🧾 Invoice & Payment Processing
Process AP/AR invoices for imported goods
Ensure timely, accurate payments and record-keeping
Align financial processes with company policy
📝 Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with customs laws and import regulations
Assist with internal audits
Prepare reports on import activity and financial status
🧰 Administrative Support
Assist sales and logistics teams with ad hoc administrative tasks
Prepare presentations and reports for management
🤝 Relationship Management
Liaise with suppliers, agents, banks, and logistics providers
Resolve documentation, payment, or inventory discrepancies
