INTERNAL/EXTERNAL VACANCY

IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of lvanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to develop this "mine of the future". Suitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply for the following vacancies required for the project development.

Concrete hands with slipform x 30

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS(DUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES):

Arranging and inspecting e.g., Vibrators; Floats; and other equipment's.

Checking and verifying delivery notes against the specification requirements.

Directing concrete trucks where to discharge.

Placing and levelling.

Finishing(Wood;Steel;Power and special applications curing).

Placing Screeds.

Patching grouting and repairs (where required).

Facing of concretes.Performing slump test.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

·Secondary Qualification of Minimum Grade 10

·Concrete hand Trade Certificate

EXPERIENCE:

·Must have min 1-2 years in the Construction Industry with a traceable reference

·Competency certificate proving his position as a Concreter hand.

·Experience to perform slipform concrete pouring.

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS &ABILITIES:

·Willing to work continuous operation shifts and overtime as and when required·Must be medically fit and willing or able to work on extreme heights.

·Good problem-solving abilities.

Working on Saturdays and Sundays and Public holidays when required.

Must be a mature self-motivated and well-disciplined individual

Demonstrate dedication in meeting deadlines

Stress tolerance

Promote a high safety standard.

Remains up to date with SHE policies and procedures
