IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class

palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to develop this "mine of the future". Suitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply for the following vacancies required for the project development.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

Read and interpret working plans and drawings for the job

Set out the work from the drawing's instructions

Construct formwork out of economy panels and shutter board

Rollback or climbing formwork system experience will be an advantage

Not to have a fear of heights

Operate in accordance with safe working procedures

Requests store, and control material

Assisted with a variety of site labour tasks as required

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Secondary Qualification of Minimum Grade 10

Shutterhand Trade Certificate

EXPERIENCE:

Must have min 1-2 years in the Construction Industry with a traceable reference

Competency certificate proving his position as a Shutter hand

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Willing to work continuous operation shifts and overtime as and when required

Must be medically fit and willing or able to work on extreme heights.

Good problem-solving abilities.

Experience to perform slipform shuttering.

BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:

Must be a mature self-motivated and well-disciplined individual

Demonstrate dedication in meeting deadlines

Stress tolerance

Promote a high safety standard
