INTERNAL/EXTERNAL VACANCY

IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class

palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to develop this "mine of the future". Suitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply for the following vacancies required for the project development.

Storeman x 2

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

Accepting deliveries and unloading of stock and materials

Organizing materials for jobs in good time

Ensure accurate stocks/records are held daily

Maintaining store security

General housekeeping of the office and stores

Inspect Materials and equipment for damage.

Moving goods around the store.

Stocking shelves and bulk goods safely.

Picking goods from shelves and recording their movements.

Operate in accordance with safe working procedures

Assisted with a variety of site labour tasks as required

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Secondary Qualification of Minimum Grade 12

Certificate in Stores Management

EXPERIENCE:

Must have 2-3 years in the Construction Industry with a traceable reference

Competency certificate proving his position as Storeman

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Communicate Effectively with the team

Willing to work continuous operation shifts and overtime as and when required.

Must be medically fit and willing or able to work on extreme heights.

Good problem-solving abilities.

BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:

Must be a mature self-motivated and well-disciplined individual

Demonstrate dedication in meeting deadlines

Stress tolerance

Promote a high safety standard
